Student Corner

On Sunday, May 17, the Lakeside student council and the JFK student government worked together at the Hewlett House to plant flowers and help make the area look brighter and more welcoming. The Hewlett house is a special place where people battling cancer can go for support and comfort. We students, felt very proud to be part of this project because we were able to help people in our community in a great way. It was a great experience getting to work with other students. Planting the flowers showed us that even a small act of kindness can make a big difference. It was a privilege to plant at the Hewlett House. It is one of the few community resource centers that provides assistance without charge. We can't wait until next year!
