Lakeside pre-K students recently learned important fire safety lessons during a special visit from the Merrick Fire Department. Firefighters taught students how to stay safe in an emergency, including the importance of knowing when and how to call for help. The visit provided a fun and engaging opportunity for students to learn valuable fire prevention and safety skills from the community members who help keep them safe.
